Green DiSC

LOGO, BRANDING, DIGITAL ASSETS

The Problem
The Green Digital Sustainability Certification (Green DiSC) needed a branding system that felt prestigious enough for organisations to display as a badge of honour on their professional websites. The challenge was to create a visual identity that clearly communicated the intersection of digital computing and environmental impact. Additionally, the system required a high degree of versatility to account for three distinct certification levels across two different team categories, all while maintaining a unified and striking brand presence.
The Solution
Developed in close partnership with the team, I designed a primary logo that utilises specific colours, shapes, and icons to recall both the focus on computing and its environmental footprint. To address the various certification requirements, I created six variations of the logo, including dedicated versions for gold, silver, and bronze tiers. This ensured that the branding was not only clear and striking but also highly functional. To further support the program's outreach, I also designed a large-scale banner for use at events and conferences, and custom certificates, providing a cohesive and professional tool for promoting digital sustainability.
