LOGO, BRANDING, DIGITAL ASSETS

The Problem
The 2025 Collaborations Workshop needed a visual identity that captured its core theme: the future of Research Software. Because the event took place both in person and online, the challenge was to create a versatile branding system that worked across a massive range of physical and digital scales. From small printed badges and booklets to large-scale digital banners and presentation slides, the design had to maintain a high impact and a sense of forward momentum for a diverse, global audience.
The Solution
To represent the theme of moving forward, I used the imagery of a road as a central motif across all promotional material. I leaned into the signature red colour, using it to its maximum potential to ensure the branding took centre stage and felt energetic and cohesive. I developed a comprehensive suite of assets—including booklets, badges, slides, digital banners, and award certificates—ensuring that whether a participant was attending in person or joining virtually, the CW25 visual identity remained bold and consistent.
